Join us on Tuesdays at 6:30pm to discuss the upcoming week’s scripture as it relates to our personal Spiritual Journeys
2 Rule Bible Study
Meets The (2nd and 4th Thursdays) | 6:30pm
Two Rules
1) We always quit on time.
2) We have no orthodoxy test.
The purpose of this Bible study is to generate discussion among the participants about the scripture. Special attention should be given to what the author of the particular scripture being considered meant by what is written. This, of course, implies the necessity to consider the Historical, Cultural and Political milieu in which he (or she) wrote. And sometimes the same for whoever did the final edits
This study is not designed to answer questions of personal morality or spirituality. It is designed to answer only one disarmingly simple question “What does the Bible actually say?”
