Sunday Worship & Gospel Mass
Join us Sunday morning for a special Sunday Worship & Gospel Mass as Make a Joyful Noise: Jazz & Gospel Weekend continues at Christ Episcopal Church.
Our regular 9:00 AM Sunday service will feature gospel music with the Christ Church choir and musicians from the Moravian University Jazz Ensemble, including music from Mass of Glory by Ken Canedo and Bob Hurd.
The service includes Scripture, prayer, preaching, music, and Holy Communion in the Episcopal tradition. We currently use Rite II from the Book of Common Prayer, which uses more contemporary language while following the traditional pattern of Episcopal worship.
If you are new to Christ Church or have never attended an Episcopal service before, you are welcome to simply come and experience it with us. A printed bulletin helps everyone follow along, and there is no expectation that you already know the words, responses, or customs.
Following worship, everyone is invited to Baker Hall for fellowship and more music as the weekend continues.
Come for worship, stay for the music and conversation, or join us for the whole morning.
Free and open to the public.
Free-will offerings will be received.
